We arrived into the Euro Airport: the international airport for Basel (Switzerland), Mulhouse (France), and Freiburg (Germany). Turning right, we were in Switzerland. A novelty for two people from a country with 2000kms separating us from our neighbouring nations. With train tickets that cost more for the one-way journey, than the return flights from London, […]
The Tongariro Alpine Crossing is rated as one of the best day walks in New Zealand if not the world. It is a must do if you are in the North Island of New Zealand. The 19.4 Km hike passes over the volcanic terrain of an active volcano (Mount Tongariro). It was less than 24 […]
The best travel takes you to a place you have researched about for a long period of time. Chernobyl was a one of these special places for me. My favourite photography focuses on the interaction of humans with the environment around them. Chernobyl and Pripyat give you the unique perspective of what a built environment […]
Vintage Camera Accessories
Let’s face it, no one likes advertising. Here at Cultured Kiwi, we removed all of our advertising to make the user experience better. We support the website by selling custom, camera accessories that we created to scratch our own itch.
If your camera still has that horrible manufacturers camera strap on it, CLICK BELOW to make that camera look cool (and help us out).
Shipping was quick and problem-free! The strap itself is a great quality strap, however on my Canon AE-1 Program, the rings to attach the strap are positioned on the front of the camera rather than the sides, so due to the large pads on this strap to protect your camera, it makes it hard to reach the shutter release with the strap on; it gets a bit in the way. For that reason, I wouldn't recommend this strap for this particular camera, but if the rings on your camera are on the sides you shouldn't have any issues! Overall, good quality strap, even if it isn't the right fit for my camera. 🙂
This is a great strap at an excellent price. It adds a really classy look and feel to my vintage 35mm film camera, and being quality leather will only get better with age. The embossed logo is nice but discreet, and the length is just right for me. I would thoroughly recommend this strap. It was delivered very quickly also - thanks!
Great service - Ordered Sunday evening and received confirmation that it was already in the before 8am Monday. Excellent quality - beautiful leather, feels soft and durable. Gorgeous colour with small embossed logo towards end of strap. Would recommend purchase with accessory to attach strap to camera if required.
Item came overnight in time to give as an early Christmas present, and was exactly as described. Gift recipent loved it! Great seller, would really recommend this product.

Introduction Double exposure photography involves combining two or more images into a single frame. This allows you to work with your shots and add textures to create surreal scenes. Words don’t really do them justice so here are some of my examples: How do they work? There are two types of double […]
Why shoot Slide Film? In a world where your smartphone can crank out perfectly lit photos at 12 megapixels in cascades of HDR bursts, shooting film might make you feel like a caveman (or cave lady). I totally get it! I’m not one to throw out a good iPhone shot #Instaiphone #instaapple #iOs. Film photography […]
Instagram is becoming more and more of an artist’s platform than a daily life sharing platform. When you search through Instagram, the quality of photos they are improving all the time. If you aren’t up with the game you will be left behind. This of course excludes celebrities who can pretty much do whatever they like and get rewarded for it.
